Polish sausage Sauerkraut and potatoes


What a delicious Polish sausage and sauerkraut recipe for a slow cooker! The sauerkraut added a wonderful taste to the properly cooked sausage, and the potatoes were equally tasty and complemented the other components beautifully.

This simple recipe for a crock pot is delicious.  Potatoes and sauerkraut go hand in hand.  If you throw in some Polish sausage, it becomes a complete dinner!  For my family, nothing beats a good bowl of comfort food like this. This is a staple among our favorite quick crock pot recipes. Depending on how many people you're feeding, you may either halve or double this dish.

Items needed 5-6 Large slices of medium-sized golden potatoes
sixteen ounces. The sour cabbage
Largely diced Polish sausage, weighing 1 and 3/4 pounds
3/4 cup. Chicken stock—1 teaspoon. Seeds of caraway
A single bay leaf
Toss with salt and pepper.

Put the sauerkraut in the base of the slow cooker.
Arrange the potatoes on top of the sauerkraut, followed by the sausage.
Toss the bay leaf, caraway seeds, and broth together in a basin.
After adding the items to the crockpot, pour the mixture over them. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and cook in a crockpot on high for four hours. Coat well before consumption.
