Homemade Salt Crackers with Poppy Seeds and Cheese


A delicious and crunchy snack, these handmade salt crackers have poppy seeds and cheese. You may eat them alone or with a variety of dips and cheeses. Featuring easy-to-follow instructions and a list of basic ingredients, these crackers will quickly become a family favorite.

About 20 to 30 crackers (depending on size) are made for each serving.

One hundred milliliters of lukewarm water and five grams of dried yeast required.
2 cups (250 grams) of flour, 1 teaspoon of sugar

Instructions
Begin by waking up the yeast:

The dried yeast, sugar, and lukewarm water should be mixed in a small basin. After 5–10 minutes of gentle stirring, the mixture should begin to foam.
Step 2: Get the Dough Ready for Ezoic

Flour, baking soda, and salt should be mixed together in a big basin.
After the yeast and oil have frothed, add them to the dry ingredients.

The dough will begin to come together as you mix.
To make the dough smooth and elastic, knead it for about 5 minutes on a floured surface.
3. Top with Cheese and Poppy Seeds:

After you've kneaded the dough, add the poppy seeds and shredded cheese and mix gently to combine.
4. Pat the dough into a ball:

Make sure your oven is preheated at 180°C (350°F).

Flour a surface and roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.
Use a knife or cookie cutter to cut the dough into the shapes you choose.
5. Arrange Baking Ingredients:

After you cut out the crackers, lay them out on a parchment-lined baking pan.
Combine the water and oil in a small bowl in an equal proportion. Use a pastry brush to coat the crackers' surfaces.
If you'd like, you may top the crackers with a bit more salt.

6. Prepare the dough:

The crackers should be crisp and golden brown after 20 to 25 minutes in a preheated oven.
Once cooled, serve.
