After giving birth to a stillborn baby in July, Valarie Watts was distraught. She decided to sell most of her possessions so she could bring Noah home while she was still grieving.
Because she couldn't bear to part with the white crib, she decided not to include it in her yard sale last month. Still, retired man Gerald Kumpula pleaded to buy it after seeing it.
Watts, 28, caved in when she found out that Gerald, 75, was an artisan who made benches from used headboards and footboards.
