Here’s what you need to know about tonsil stones – the weird pimple-like growths in your throat

 


Seeing any white or yellow patches on your tonsils might be an indication of chronic poor breath.



The tonsils may get clogged with food particles, germs, or minerals like calcium, forming stones called tonsilloliths. The structure of these stones or lumps resembles that of cheese.

Very few symptoms are caused by these stones, with the exception of foul breath and sometimes throat pain.
