Ribs cooked in a slow cooker are so delicious, you may never want to use a grill again.

Root Beef Barbecue Pork Ribs in a Slow Cooker

Recipe Items

Three pounds of pork spare ribs, or around two racks' worth
2 cans of 12-ounce root beer
2:1 barbecue sauce, already made
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
If You Want Detailed Recipe Directions Kindly Proceed to the Following 1st, take the silvery skin from the ribs' underside. A spoon's back pushed beneath it and some fingerwork up and off the ribs will do the trick.
2. Transfer the ribs to a 6-quart slow cooker after liberally seasoning them with salt and pepper. Drizzle the root beer on top.
Turn the heat down to low and simmer for five hours, or up to three hours on high.
Fourth, transfer the ribs to a platter and put them away from the slow cooker. Drain the slow cooker of any excess liquid.
5. Return the ribs to the oven and add the barbecue sauce. Make sure the ribs are well coated with sauce. Maintain high heat for a further hour.
6. Serve with sauce after gently removing from the slow cooker.
Expert tip: Instead of putting the ribs back into the slow cooker, spray them with sauce and broil them for a few minutes to get charred pieces that will add a smokey taste and make it look like they came straight off the grill.
